Morocco face Haiti in Match 50 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group C at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on 24 June, with kick off at 6:00 PM ET. Morocco sit second in Group C with four points, behind Brazil only on goal difference and can claim top spot with a win if Brazil fail to beat Scotland in the concurrent match, while a draw is enough to guarantee second place regardless. Haiti are already eliminated, pointless after losses to Scotland and Brazil, in only their second World Cup since 1974.

Mohamed Ouahbi took charge of Morocco on 5 March 2026, succeeding Walid Regragui after years guiding the nation's U 23 and U 20 sides, while Sebastien Migne has been in charge of Haiti since 2024, steering them through qualification despite never actually visiting the country due to security concerns. The two have never faced each other as managers and this is also the first competitive meeting between the two nations.

Morocco have been unbeaten in the tournament, grinding out a 1-1 draw against Brazil on an Ismael Saibari goal then winning 1-0 against Scotland with Saibari scoring again. Haiti struggled in both matches, conceding early and never recovering their footing and have yet to score in the group stage.

Injury and suspension information is thin on the ground for both sides. Morocco appear close to full strength, with Ouahbi likely to name an unchanged XI: Yassine Bounou in goal behind a back four of Achraf Hakimi, Issa Diop, Chadi Riad and Noussair Mazraoui, Neil El Aynaoui and Ayyoub Bouaddi in the holding roles and a creative three of Brahim Diaz, Azzedine Ounahi and Bilal El Khannouss behind Saibari. Haiti are expected to start Johny Placide in goal, with Carlens Arcus, Ricardo Ade, Hannes Delcroix and Martin Experience in defence, Danley Jean Jacques and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in central midfield, Ruben Providence and Louicius Deedson in wider roles and Frantzdy Pierrot and Wilson Isidor up front.

Hakimi's overlap from right back is Morocco's most consistent outlet and the midfield quality of Diaz and El Khannouss means they can create even when Haiti sit deep. Saibari's movement in behind against Ade and Delcroix is where the most dangerous individual contest lies, given how reliably he has found the net in this tournament. Haiti's likeliest route to goal is from dead ball situations, where their physical presence at least gives them something to work with.

Morocco are well organised from set pieces, which matters given that Haiti have already conceded from dead ball situations in this tournament. Referee Danny Makkelie of the Netherlands has a reputation for letting the game flow while keeping firm control. Morocco have a meaningful objective while Haiti are playing out a campaign that was already over before this match kicked off and that gap in motivation rarely stays theoretical.

Morocco 2-1 Haiti. Saibari is the likeliest source of goals having scored twice already in the group stage and should cause Haiti's centre backs real problems throughout. Haiti have failed to score in either of their group stage matches, so a clean sheet for Morocco is plausible, though their dead ball threat gives them a realistic chance of pulling one back before the final whistle.
